GETTING AN AFFILIATION FROM STATE BOARD IS MANDATORY FOR GETTING CONSIDERED FOR CBSE AFFILIATION In India the three most common boardscurriculum are CBSE, ICSE and the various respective State boards. Now a days a lot of new schools are adopting for the IB board. All the boards except state boards do not allow any school to use their curriculum or brand name at the time of schools inception. A school can apply to CBSE or ICSE board only after a year of schools inception. In the case of IB its 3 years. There are various set of guidelines which are available online. To begin with the maximum you can start is till Class VIII. The set of guidelines can also help you in detailing out the size of classrooms and of the school building. The most difficult part in getting an affiliation is NOC, the CBSE waived this rule in the interim but now it is back. The new circular is out Dec 2.
